For the seventh year, Sheridan IMPACT 307 will present a challenge to potential entrepreneurs to compete with fellow like-minded people and earn a chance to make a dream come to fruition by participating in the Start-Up Challenge.
New entrepreneurial activity is a significant element of economic development, and the Start-Up Challenge identifies and develops successful entrepreneurs that will become solid contributors to the Sheridan area economy.

Each year, IMPACT 307 looks for individuals who are interested in starting a new business or early-stage entrepreneurs wanting to grow. Through the Start-Up Challenge, Sheridan IMPACT 307 provides a monetary incentive and the business support needed for contestants to act on their ideas. The Sheridan Start-Up Challenge offers a $100,000 seed capital fund to the winners to help the new ventures launch or expand to a greater market. S. Rendall

All submitted applications will be reviewed by a panel of judges that have been assembled for the Challenge. This panel is made up of local business leaders and entrepreneurs that have been through the rigor of starting and growing successful businesses.
Out of the initial application pool, the IMPACT 307 judges will select the top 10 submissions. These applicants will then go through a semifinal review process that will include a brief presentation and answer questions from the judges.
The top five or six applicants of the semifinal round will become finalists and progress to the Pitch Night event to be held at the WYO Theater, scheduled for Nov. 1.
