Startup Lunch & Learn: Legal Topics for Small Businesses

Entrepreneurs, small business owners and startups are encouraged to attend the next IMPACT 307 Startup Lunch & Learn, “Legal Topics for Small Businesses,” on Wednesday, April 30, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Wyoming Technology Business Center. The event is free, but event registration is required.
This 90-minute event will feature presentations by UW Business Law Practicum students who will discuss the following essential legal topics:
- Contracts Crash Course
- Agency Law
- Corporations
- LLCs
- LLC Operating Agreements
- DAO LLCs
- Trademarks for Small Businesses
- Taxation of Business
In-person attendance is limited to 40 guests, and lunch will be provided by the UW College of Law for in-person attendees. Online virtual viewing of the presentations will be available for registered guests. Free parking is available on Harney Street or in the two-hour section in the UW Red Lot adjacent to the Wyoming Technology Business Center, 1938 East Harney Street.
IMPACT 307 is the University of Wyoming’s business incubator that serves to support the growth of startup clients. As part of its mission to provide resources and knowledge to entrepreneurs, IMPACT 307 hosts its periodic Startup Lunch & Learn events to help boost the success of small businesses and startups.
