Through the only formal entrepreneurial development program in the state, IMPACT 307 is leading the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Wyoming and helping to nurture the formation of primary employers throughout the state; proving that supporting entrepreneurs and business start-ups is good business for Wyoming.
IMPACT 307 (formerly the WTBC) was formed in 2005 with an original mission to operate in Laramie as a technology business incubator providing facilities, technical assistance, and administrative support to new and developing small technology/innovation businesses. Our secondary purpose was to promote social welfare through development of employment opportunities for Wyoming students and citizens, encouragement of industrial growth, and attraction of business organizations to the Laramie community.
While we have expanded to other areas in the state and rebranded to IMPACT 307, our mission continues to focus on building and diversifying Wyoming’s business economy within the UW Land Grant University charter, by identifying and developing successful start-up and early-stage ventures that will contribute to the long-term growth and health of Wyoming’s economy.
Wyoming has been steadfast in its vision for diversifying the economy, which is of particular importance today as Wyoming’s energy industry wavers. IMPACT 307 supports Wyoming’s goal of economic diversification by encouraging innovation and creative thinking to find business solutions that add value to our lives. Through our programs, entrepreneurs and business start-ups are given the tools and support they need to turn their ideas into action and positively affect job-creation, grow primary employers, and build our business markets right here in Wyoming.
Across our three incubators, IMPACT Laramie, IMPACT Sheridan, and IMPACT Casper, we are committed to providing the best resources to every client that walks through our doors and we are dedicated to being part of the economic viability that these forward-thinking entrepreneurs are bringing to our great state.
