The WYO Theater in downtown Sheridan was the site for Pitch Night Wednesday evening for the five finalists in the year’s Sheridan Start-Up Challenge entrepreneur competition, hosted by Impact 307, Sheridan’s business incubator. The three winners of the event were IXNAY, NotFoundBot, and Van Dorsten Custom Firearms. Each of the three winners of the competition received $5,000 and will have access to a $100,000 seed fund that was established for the event. Impact Sheridan Director Scot Rendall said this year’s Start-Up Challenge attracted 35 applicants.
The audience choice award winner that was chosen by the livestream viewers at sheridanmedia.com was Van Dorsten Custom Firearms. For the award, Van Dorsten Custom Firearms received $2,000.
