We’ve had many entrepreneurs walk through our doors, each with a different story. Some have been in the early stages of business development, looking for advice to achieve high-growth, others with simply an idea and little to no resources to execute their plan. Fortunately, IMPACT 307 is set up to help start-up businesses at any level with a bounty of resources and expertise to lead them on a path to success.
IMPACT 307 is the only incubator in the state offering a formal entrepreneur development program, backed by the resources of a world-class research institution through the University of Wyoming. With access to a diverse expertise, counseling, resources, and tools, we are the front-door to entrepreneurs on their start-up journey. You may have heard about our programs and our approach before, and may even recognize businesses that have successfully completed these programs, such as the Start-Up Challenges.
We love to brag on our clients and celebrate in their successes, because that means that we have provided the tools, resources, and sound advice these businesses need to succeed. The real value of our programs can be seen in our success stories, like these three:
1) Frog Creek Partners, a Casper Start-Up Challenge finalist offers their take on these IMPACTful programs.
“After moving into the business incubator, I used the business resources offered to me by IMPACT 307. I firmly believe that the Casper Start-up Challenge and IMPACT 307 helped me get my business off the ground. Frog Creek Partners’ has since graduated from the incubator and is in a large manufacturing space now,” said founder, Brian Deurloo.
2) Sheridan-based entrepreneur Chelsea Paulus, founder of Connect Speech Therapy, sums up the invaluable resources that IMPACT 307 was able to give her business when she first started out, which helped her land a large contract with the Carbon County School District:
“The Sheridan business incubator has provided valuable business advising and community connections to help grow Connect Speech Therapy. Scot helped connect me with attorneys, accountants, and marketing professionals who were all eager to support a Wyoming start-up business.”
3) A finalist in the 2019 Southeast Wyoming Innovation Launchpad (SEWYIL), Crave Nutrition, a Cheyenne-based company, sums up the impact of our programs from the perspective of a start-up.
“Thanks to ongoing mentorship, I’ve been able to make connections with a larger network of partners and I’ve gotten help problem solving through challenges that have come up since participating in SEWYIL. It’s been less than a year since opening my practice, but thanks to IMPACT 307 I’ve been able to steadily build a profitable business that is not only creating economic opportunities but is truly changing the lives of the clients that have sought out services to better manage their health,” said founder, Lindsey McCoy.
From large buyouts, like with Bright Agrotech (now operating as Plenty), to steady development and growth, like with Frog Creek Partners and Connect Speech Therapy, we’re proud to say that each of our success stories comes from a Wyoming business making a big IMPACT in their communities.
Check out all of our Success Stories and consider supporting one or more of these businesses as they continue to put their forward-thinking and thoughtful ideas in motion locally and across Wyoming.
