Join us for this Lunch + Learn Webinar to gain insight into successfully pivoting a career into entrepreneurship. We have invited Monica Patten to lead a discussion about career pivoting, including an overview the resources available to Wyoming residents who want to take the leap into entrepreneurship.  

Monica Patten has an extensive background that spans early-research to manufacturing, and has worked across many industries including pharmaceuticals, consumer products, and technology materials. Along the way, she made many career pivots and earned an MBA. She also has extensive experience in patent surveying in industries, and is the inventor on five patent applications. About the Speaker:

Monica Patten provides one-on-one business counseling and executive coaching services to founders in Sweetwater & Uinta Counties. In her role as Assistant Director, she is also working to strengthen and expand the startup resources in SW Wyoming, including the development of new seed funding opportunities and other programs for entrepreneurs to thrive. Monica is passionate about working with founders and continuing to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem here in Wyoming.  

Before joining IMPACT 307, Monica worked as a chemist across many industries, with roles spanning from early research to manufacturing. She has extensive experience in patent surveying, and is the inventor on five patent applications, with applications at various stages of the patenting process. She holds a Master of Science in synthetic organic chemistry in addition to an MBA.   

Monica is passionate about working with founders and continuing to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem here in Wyoming.
